Bethany Coleman is a contemporary photographer who was born in 2004 in China’s Jiangxi Province but raised in Bentonville, Arkansas through adoption. Bethany has been expanding her creative visions with the camera since her early teenage years. She began her practice by coordinating simple portrait photoshoots with her friends, which then sparked a deeper passion for photography of many genres. Her recent work explores themes of beauty and the way it is perceived. Bethany is currently pursuing a BFA in Design with a concentration in Photography at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and is set to graduate in 2027.
